How to know when brake discs need replacing
Signs of worn discs and how to measure them against the minimum thickness.
Warning signs - Vibration through the pedal or steering wheel - A raised lip around the disc edge - Deep scoring or blue heat marks
Measure it Every disc has a minimum thickness stamped on it. Measure with a micrometer in several places. If any reading is below the minimum, replace the discs as an axle pair, always with new pads.
